Over 10 million dogs and cats are lost or stolen in the US every year, while 1 in 3 pets become lost at some point in their lifetime. Microchipping your pet is one of the best ways to ensure that you will be reconnected with your fur family member. Only about 22% of lost pets are reunited with their owners, but if a pet is microchipped, that number jumps to 52%!!! However, it is not good enough to just get the chip implanted. You MUST also register your pet, otherwise there is no way to know who to contact when the pets unique ID pops up in the database. Here at Creekside, we do the registration process for you.
