These products are marked with warnings that they are for dogs only, but the notation may be small or hard to find on the box. Use caution when purchasing flea and tick preventions to ensure that your product is safe for your feline friend. A couple safety tips:
1.Store your dog and cat products in different locations to avoid accidentally grabbing the wrong one off the shelf.
2.Never split a single dose of prevention between your dog and cat. In addition to toxicity concerns, the dosing will likely be incorrect. Your pets won’t get the protection they need.
