Meet Our Veterinarians in West Lafayette, IN

Dr. Pamela Jackson received her DVM from Purdue University in 1993 and joined the Creekside team as an associate veterinarian in 1995. She purchased the clinic from Dr. Clark in 2008 and has diligently worked to grow the practice since, allowing us to open our second location in West Lafayette in 2016. Dr. Jackson loves the variety that each day brings and always says this job is never boring! She especially enjoys the challenging surgery cases, such as orthopedics. In her free time, she really enjoys anytime that she gets to spend on the water — whether it be boating, fishing or just floating. After 15 years of 4-H with her three children, she still enjoys helping other youngsters with their projects. She is also an FFA Alumni volunteer at her local chapter. Dr. Jackson, her husband, and kids farm 280 acres of corn and soybeans… so, running a tractor is often her happy place when she is not caring for all the wonderful pets she gets to meet!

Dr. Timmons received her DVM from Purdue University in 1998 and she joined the Creekside family in 2000. Dr. Timmons says her favorite part about her job is that it is never boring – each day is different and challenging! She has a special interest in general medicine, cytology and oncology. She stays busy at home with her husband, two daughters, stepdaughter, a Great Pyrenees named Olive and a cat named Agatha. As a family, they are actively involved in their church, enjoy attending Purdue activities, reading, and going to the movie theater. In her free time, Dr. Timmons enjoys a good bid euchre tournament with her husband and parents!

Dr. Flanagan grew up in the West Lafayette area as one of five children. She graduated from Harrison High School prior to getting her Biology and DVM degrees from Purdue University in 2005 and 2009. After graduation, she moved to St. John, Indiana, and worked at the St. John Animal Clinic for 10 years. She joined the Creekside family in May of 2019. Feline medicine is her favorite and she enjoys spending time with her cats Junipurr and Clementine. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, counted cross stitch, going to the movies, and reading sci-fi/fantasy novels. She also hatches Monarch and Swallowtail butterflies!

Dr. Schmidt is from the Lafayette area and received her DVM from the University of Illinois in 2021. She joined the Creekside family in August of 2022. Her special interests include preventative medicine, ophthalmology, and oncology. Dr. Schmidt loves her job because she gets to help improve the quality of life of pets and their owners! In her free time, she enjoys going to the movie theater, PC gaming, and reading fiction novels. She also enjoys spending time with her family and many pets – including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. It’s her goal to visit all 50 states one day – she’s been to 13 thus far!

Dr. Curtis is a 2024 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and her undergraduate degree from Earlham College in 2020. She brings a genuine passion for small animal general practice, with a particular interest in dermatology and helping pets live itch-free lives.

Driven by her love for animals and spirit for adventure, Dr. Curtis has participated in rehabilitation and research projects in both Tanzania and Guatemala – experiences that have deepened her commitment to compassionate care for all creatures, big and small.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Dr. Curtis cheering on Purdue sports, enjoying a good book, exploring new places, or soaking up the sun poolside. At home she shares her life with her beloved crew: three cats – Willow, Belle, and Tate, a sweet dog named Theo, and her boyfriend, Alex.
